The Insurance Authority has issued a circular requiring registration of foreign reinsurance companies intending to enter into reinsurance agreements with Saudi insurance companies.

This circular applies to both new and renewed reinsurance contracts. All foreign reinsurance companies must complete their registration on the Insurance Authority’s designated platform no later than March 1, 2026. For Registration on IA's Platform
